Each user should have a video camera, microphone, and speaker mounted on his/her computer. can I make calls from different computers?
 
Yes, once you subscribe to the service through signing and creating a user account, you can make calls from any computer in the world through your user account, provided that you have broadband connectivity and World Call dialer on the computer you are using.
 
can I make several simultaneous calls using one account?
 
This service is not activated at the time being. Accordingly, you can make one call per session.
 
are my calls secured?
 
Of course, all calls are encrypted through 128bit Secure Socket Layer encoding which is an algorithm that hypothetically changes the customer messages & information content to 128-bit keys according to the following example:

what format do I use to dial a number?
 
If you are calling a Jordanian number, wherever you are in the world, please dial the number according to the following format:
  Area (city) Code + Local Number, i.e.: (06) 468 16 10
  To dial a destination other than Jordan, please use the following number format:
    (00)+Country Code + Area Code + Local Number
    For US & Canada, please replace the prefix (00) with (001) followed by country code+ area code+ local number

You can download “World Call” soft dialer from the following URL: www.arabicworldcall.com, choose the ‘save’ to desktop option, followed by run, run, next, next, choose your ‘User Name’ & ‘Company Name’, click ‘next’, ‘next’, then install followed by FINISH. You can also access the dialer from “start”/ All Programs/ World Call.
1. Click on “download now”
2 .Save the WorldCall.exe on your local desktop
3. Double click worldcall.exe file, then click on the “Run” button to start the installation
4. Click on next button
5. Check the “I agree to the terms of this license agreement”. Then Click on the “next” button
6. Click on “next” button again. Please select the location/ folder you wish to save the application on.
7. Click on “next” button.
8. Click on the “Yes” button
9. Click on the “Finish” button to complete the installation
 
 
what tools do I need to start making calls?
 
All you need to make calls with WorldCall is a computer connected to the Internet through broadband, a sound card, a headphone or a microphone. With the standard home-computer equipment you are ready to start making calls.

World Call works well with a minimum connectivity of DSL 128kbps.

how can I buy credit?
 

  If you are in Jordan, please visit any of Jordan Telecom Group Shops and/or Weinak distributors to buy a Weinak Calling Card to use it for making calls.

    Select “add credit” option from the main menu
    Select the value for the e-Weinak you wish to purchase
   

Select the credit card type you wish to pay with

    click on "buy one online" icon
    depend on the selected card type, you will move to a new page to fill the needed information (Card number, CVV, card expired number, card holder ….etc)
    click on "submit" icon
    You will get message confirm your transaction

The two cards were added to your account, to check, please click on the “calling card” button under “your account” at: http://www.arabicworldcall.com/WorldCall/En/DefaultCard.jsp. However, please note that you need to select the card you wish to use for making calls through “make this card my default calling card”. Noting that; the system does not allow users to have two default calling cards at the same time.
 
 
my balance is positive but I cannot make calls. What should I do?
 
Please check if:
1- Your Weinak Card validity expired.
2- Your Weinak card is set as a “default calling card.”
Otherwise, please send us the “error code” that appears on your screen to enable further support.
 
how do I know how much I am being charged per call?

If you sign-out from World Call through shutting down the service interface, or through clicking on the log-out button, you need to log-in again using “only” your password.
 
I have lost my password. how can I recover my account information?
 
1- Click on “your account” icon on World Call” homepage
2- You can find the section of “have you forgotten your password”
3- fill in you name and e-mail address, and we will e-mail you a new password Please make sure that the e-mail address you write down is the same e-mail address you used upon registering to use World Call service.
4- You can also choose the “forget your password” on the dialer log-in interface

I face problems while making Calls. what should I do?
 
Please check if you are working from behind a ‘proxy’ or ‘firewall’ that is blocking you from connecting with World Call. Also, please check your balance before making calls. To call a specific destination you need to have enough credit to cover the cost of the call.
If you have enough credit to make your call and you are not sitting behind a proxy or firewall, then please check the dialing format for the phone number you are calling. Please make sure that you are dialing according to the following format:

can I use World Call with a firewall installed on my PC?
 
Yes, you can have a firewall installed on your computer; however, it should be turned-off while using World Call.
 
cannot hear the person on the other end. What should I do?
 

There are several reasons why you may be experiencing this difficulty. Read through this troubleshooting checklist to find a possible solution.

a- Make sure that both your microphone and speakers are connected to your computer through the proper plug inputs. The headset plug-in is usually different from the plug-in for the headset speaker with a microphone.

b- Check the speakers and microphone volume levels.

c- Make sure your Windows audio volume is not set to "mute". Double-click on the speaker icon on your system tray, and make sure that none of the "mute" options are checked.

d- Check the Tuning Wizard to make sure that the sound is good.

e- Make sure that no other application that uses the sound card is running in parallel with World Call (CD player, MP3 player, answering machine…). Please close all these applications & programs, and try placing the call again.

whenever I try to use WorldCall I get this message: "sorry login failed please try again later. error code 0x80ee0065" what does this mean?
 

This means that your PC2PC Certificate is invalid, and that you need to reinstall it. Below you can find the steps for proper re-installation:

 

1- Download the following certificate text file

2- Please change the extension of the attached file from .txt to .cer as per below image

3- To reinstall the Certificate.cer, right-click on the certificate file and the following pop-up window will appear:

4- Select "Install Certificate" followed by “ok” or “yes”. This should solve the reported error.

 
whenever I enter a phone number through World Call I receive the following message: Error code 0x80EE000C. What does this mean?
 
This error is a “credit transaction timeout”, which means that the credit card owner consumed longer time in entering his credit data in the specified ‘online’ application fields, than the normal time needed for similar transactions.
The reasons could be:
1- Bandwidth: Please check that your bandwidth is at minimum 128Kbps. Also, please make sure that the bandwidth is not consumed by other applications in parallel to using World Call.
2- Test World Call from a different internet connection and send us the test results/ feedback, including: test time, date, test results, and error code.
